How to read this

Partial feeder means only part of that school's neighborhood goes on to the high school you picked; the rest goes to a different high school. If a home sits in a partial area, confirm the assigned schools for that exact address with the district before relying on it.

Rank is the school's place among the 86 elementary or 24 middle schools in this six-district pilot (Everett, Mukilteo, Edmonds, Northshore, Snohomish and Lake Stevens). Lake Stevens students attend a middle school for grades 6–7, then Cavelero Mid High for grades 8–9, so both appear under Middle.

Feeder patterns come from each district, read Sept 29, 2026: Everett's 2026–27 feeder chart, Edmonds' published feeder patterns and exceptions, and Snohomish's feeder list. For Northshore and Mukilteo we checked hundreds of points across each district with the district's own school-finder tool to see which elementary, middle and high school each location is assigned. Lake Stevens has one comprehensive high school, so every neighborhood school feeds it. Choice, online and alternative programs are left out.

Sources, read Sept 29, 2026: GreatSchools ratings (GreatSchools.org), Niche 2027 grades, U.S. News 2026 Washington elementary (of 1,110) and middle school (of 459) ranks, and OSPI 2025–26 state tests (reading, math and science, all tested grades), ranked among 1,187 Washington elementary and 410 middle schools. Blended score: GreatSchools ×10; Niche A+ = 100, A = 95, A- = 90, B+ = 85, B = 80, B- = 75, C+ = 70, C = 65; ranks become a statewide percentile. U.S. News shows its bottom quarter only as a band (#833–1,110 for elementary), scored at the band's midpoint. All four sources count equally.

Ratings lean heavily on test scores, which track family income (see each school's low-income share). Use them as one input alongside a school visit.
